I just wanted to share this with you guys!

I was at my parents house the other night...
My Mom and I were watching a show on TV (I don't know what the show was..),
and I was holding her lil Chihuahua (Tequila).

Tequila started to bark, and wine while paying close attention to what was on TV......
He was doing this because there was a dog on TV!!!
The dog on TV was not barking or making any dog sounds..
Shocked I couldn't believe it!
I am probably just crazy for making a big deal about it...
I have just never seen an animal actually know what they are seeing on TV!!
My cats will not even meow back if they hear one on TV!!

My Mom says that he watches TV, with her all of the time!
She said his favorite show is "Animal Planet"!!!!!!!! WOW

My dad used to have a football buddy in our dog DJ every time football was on he would sit with dad to watch the game and when dad would rejoice in a TD for his team DJ would run up to the TV and jump, flip and bark until the other teams offense was ready to hike the ball we were always amazed that he seemed to know when to stop celebrating. Gpo figure animals they say become their owners and most of us watch TV

I have been an animal lover from birth (lol), but unfortunately I married someone who is (was) allergic to eveything.

Well, we settled for a Yorkie (hair not fur), then a Cockatoo. Well, if you're familiar with Cockatoos, they throw off alot of "dust". As messy as he is, he has been part of the family since 1993. And though I wanted him, he loves my husband.

Cats would be forever a no-no, because of hubby's asthma. Well 2 years ago Mr. Softy let 3 stray females (neighbors moved) in the basement for the winter. Well, on March 11th... 6 kittens. Then on March 17th (Happy St Patrick's Day) the other 2 moms had a total of 7 more kittens.

Well much to my husbands dismay, and threats to get rid of "all" of them, I kept the smallest sickly one which is now a beautiful, fluffy, entirely gray kitty. His daddy was a stray that we called Mr. Gray. Hence the name Graysson ( Mr. Grays Son). Also kept a little bratty, whinny, long haired ball of fur female who is now the most beautiful of all, with the biggest double paws you've ever seen (who also loves my husband). And lastly, the biggest baby of all is a dark striped tiger that weighs 22lbs and is affraid of his own shadow, but is the most affectionate of all.

Sorry for rambling, but my main reason for the story is....a couple of weeks ago my hubby said, "ya' know, I wouldn't do it again but, we could never get rid of them now, they are like our kids.

Yup, coming from a person that used to say (kidding of course), the only good cat is a dead cat!!!!!!!

And I don't care what he says, I think he has buillt an immunity to the animals.

Thanks for listening and can you tell that I don't have any "human" kids???? LOL

Bandit is my 3 year old ferret.....He is the best pet I've ever had!!! He's loveable, and playful, and the most curious animal i've ever come across...He has to sniff EVERYTHING, and crawl in, climb up or get underneath EVERYTHING...His idea of a great day is when something different is brought into the house.....cuz then he gets to inspect it, inside and out!! Ferrets are lttle thieves too.....lol......Bandits favorite thing to steal and stash away are little stuffed animals....I'm not sure what he does with them after he stashes them under the dresser, but I may not want to know either!!! lol (kidding).....but anyways, Bandit....he's my most wonderful pet EVER....

Had 3 pets when i was married, all in good homes now.
A basset and part german shepard.. yes quite a combo, his name was duke, named after the dog on beverly hill billies. Next was pure bread cocker named elvis, my ex was a elvis fan. A cat named gizzmo, he looked just like gizzmo in the movie gremlins.

I LOST MY ROT., MAX-A-MUM, NOT LONG AGO. HE WAS 16YRS. OLD AND TILL THE DAY HE DIED, WE PLAYED "BOWLING FOR DOGGIES". HE WOULD ROLL HIS BOWLING BALL OVER TO ME AND RUN TO THE END OF THE DRIVE SO I COULD...BOWL FOR DOGGIE. HE'D GO NUTS WAITING FOR IT TO GET TO HIM AND JUMP OUTTA THE WAY JUST BEFORE IT HIT HIM. THEN HE'D GRAB IT & BRING IT BACK TO ME SO WE COULD PLAY AGAIN.
I MISS HE EVERY DAY AND LOOK FOR HIS FACE AT THE DOOR EVERY NIGHT.

ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO, I CAUGHT MYSELF LOOKING FOR MAX AT THE DOOR AND TO MY SUPPRISE FOUND, WHAT IS NOW A NEW ADDITION TO OUR HOME, A RACCOON EATING FROM THE FOOD DISH I LEAVE ON THE PORCH FOR THE WILD CATS.

HE COMES TO THE DOOR EVERY NIGHT NOW WITH HIS "BUDDY", A YOUNG CAT. THEY EAT, GOOF OFF, ROLLING AROUND...CHASING EACH-OTHER...HAVIN' FUN, THEN RETURN TO LOOK IN THE DOOR FOR DAVE & I.
WE HAVE BECOME FRIENDLY AND "C&C" NOW COME TO TALK & PLAY WHEN THEY ARE CALLED.

WE ARE STILL GETTING TO KNOW & TRUST ONE ANOTHER BUT
I AM SURE, OVER TIME, "C&C" WILL EXCEPT DAVE & I AS "THEIR" NEW PETS.

Okay, after all the talking I did about my babies, I need some prayers. My little gray kitty is missing. We don't know if he got out, but even if he did, he wouldn't go anywhere. He goes as far as the yard and then cries to come in. He could never fend for himself outside. Please say a prayer for me to find him, I've been crying most of the day.

Thanks everybody
