Ha... ha...

"Twas the Night before Halloween"

Twas' the night before Halloween and all through the house,
not a kitty was purring or even a mouse.

The costumes were hung in the closet by the chair,
in hopes the next night would have weather that's fair.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of Hershey's danced in their heads.

With Papa in his lounge chair taking a nap,
I decided to settle for some Beer on tap.

He had just settled down for a short little nap,
when out from the lawn there arose such a clatter,
he sprang from the chair, to see what was the matter.

Away to the window he flew like a flash,
so, I reached in his wallet and grabbed all his cash.

The full moon was bright and lit up the sky,
I got a feeling that this would be a good time to fly.

I jumped on my Broom and tried to flee,
wondering what other place I intended to be.

and, what over my shoulder should appear,
Papa was behind me with a refill of beer.

I knew at that moment I must come clean,
as I knew grabbing his cash, was kinda' mean.

Standing by the window, I started to explain,
as we noticed outside it was starting to rain.

I decided to bring up the subject, how I wanted to play,
because I really love gambling on a rainy day.

He reached in wallet to grab some cash,
and noticed that there was no more of his stash.

That was when I told him, about helping myself,
he stared at me with his ears up like an elf.

I gave him the cash, and he jumped in the car,
to load my NetSpend downtown by the bar.

I checked online to see what new games could be there,
as he came back so quickly through traffic, which is rare.

My NetSpend was loaded and I was ready to play,
I realized that there was something, I oughta' say.

I started to thank him, as I thought I should,
he looked at me gracefully as I thought he would.

He jumped up and down and shouted the names,
of some of my favorite Micro games.

I logged in my account and started to choose,
as I wished for great luck, hoping to not lose.

Awake were the children that could no longer snooze.
I decided to tell them about the great news.....

I won, I won!
