I received a letter that indicated possible fraud activity with either a prepaid gift card, payroll card, etc. The only thing I can think of is my Netspend. It didn't specify.

Has anyone else received a letter like this?

RGALP, I did not get one. You should contact who ever sent you the letter,
but beware if they ask for your personal info as that could be a scam wink

It seems that if it had something to do with netspend, the letter
would come from netspend.

Do You have a paypal account? I used to get e-mails on that all the time.

If you use paypal people have asked me information and I did not give it to them, and to find out later it was fraud. paypal already knew about it and was watching it.

When you get emails like this, there are fraud because people are just guessing that you might have an account.
I get them all the time for bank accounts that i don't even have.
I even got 1 for a bank that i had for years, and i knew that it was fraud.

Whatever you do, don't respond to it. and don't give them any information.

This was a good email i got, the email said that they were with the FBI and that i was involved with a lottery in london, and that i was being investigated for fraud.
I called the FBI, and they said that it was a fraud email, and that they were investigating it, and don't respond to it.

This letter is offering me a year of free "privacy protection" because of the apparent glitch in the system. It's probably a scam to join up with them.

Thanks for the advice guys....I'll ignore

I have Netspend and the only thing I received from them was an e-mail last week saying their ATM fees were going up in Feb.
