NBC Sued for $85,000,000 over TV Poker Show

NBC's new "Face The Ace" poker reality television show seems to be causing more trouble than it's worth.

TMZ reports that:
"A guy named Brandon McSmith claims he came up with the idea for a show where wannabe poker players compete against pros (who were hidden behind doors) for a chance to win a seat at the World Series of Poker.

Smith claims he pitched the idea to a company called Poker Productions -- but they rejected it."

Smith claims the "Face the Ace" show is too similar to the idea he pitched to Poker Productions. Poker Productions just happens to be the creator of Face the Ace.

Brandon Smith and his zealous lawyer are now suing NBC for a reported $85 Million dollars. Tmz calls the lawsuit "ridiculous", as the show is doing so poorly it has been pushed to Saturday afternoons.
