1. Follow the top 237 that will follow you back:

3. Be nice.
4. People like cool avatars. Try one without your face. (unless you are REALLY hot, in which case it could help)
5. Follow people back.

7. Leave your political affiliation out of your bio, unless that is what you tweet about.
8. Make your twitter page (background) easy to look at.
9. Do not follow 2000 people the first day. Be patient at Twitter.

6. Do not "sell" only. If every tweet is a sales pitch, you will loose followers.
7. Do not resend the same tweet over and over.
8. Do not curse.

10. Do not send annoying auto Direct messages, if you send one, make it funny.
