Once awhile ago my step-sisters and I were watching a vampire western movie and at one point in the movie a window shade rolls up by itself--not five seconds later the shade in the window to the right of our TV set freakin rolls itself up--we all got spooked that time.

This isn't really scary but it is creepy:
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

This is a true story, when I was 19 me and my ex-husband drove from Oregon to New Jersey to visit his parents. One night we drove up this old dirt road that was totally pitch dark. It was around midnight. We parked for awhile, fooling around lol. Well when we left we were about halfway down the mountain road when this figure of a little old lady appeared out of no where. She stopped and turned towards us, pointing a finger at us, and then we hit her. She disappeared in, what looked like a puff of smoke. Neither one of said anything, he just kept driving. But I wanted to know if I had just imagined that happening or what, so I looked at him and as I was about to ask him, he said don't ask, yes I saw her too.
When ever my ex talked about it, to anyone, out of nowhere there came a spray of water that hit him. I could talk about it and nothing happened, but when he did water was thrown at him. I know this because I was present twice when he talked about it and saw the water come from I don't know where but he got hit with it. once we were driving in my landcruiser, and the other time we were in a bar. he didn't talk about it anymore after that. To this day I wonder why that happened and if it meant anything.

my brother died about 20 yrs ago i was driving down the road a few nights later and i saw his ghost change the channel on the radio station
also a month later a phone in my house rang but it was plugged into the wall and the rocking chair rocked by itself i think all of these were signs from my brothers ghost

This is a True story
I live in a hotel in West Virginia on the fifth floor, I was 19 yrs old, I was in the drug scene, and was a dancer for a burleques show, I was dateing a man who was a thief and I had just found out a few days eirlier he had another women, and was playing with my emotions, we fought all the time, but we were together for 5 years.
I was ending the relationship, and one morning there was a knock on my hotel door, I woke to the knock and tried to move out of my bed to answer the door, I was being held down in my bed by an invisable force, I was only able to move my eyes, I could not speek or anything, but who or what was at my door left, the thing lifted off of me, I jumped up and slung open my door and looked and listened for anything that would remotely give me a hint where they or what it was went, I was near the outside steps, I ran there and there was no one on the steps or parking lot, and then I ran to the elevator and there was no elevator lights on, so I have been so puzzeled about this most of my life. 
I can only figure God was protecting me from who ever was on the other side of that door. The woman my man was seeing was a violent woman, who knows what mysterious actions occures to people in this world to protect them from the evil that lurcks around in the hallways of peoples lives.

my husband and i moved into a 250 year old house in new england. Things started happening right away. Bumps in the night, apparitions, lights turning on or off, things out of place, etc. one night I had a vivid dream about a 12 or so year old boy and a baby boy around 5. It was a screamer of a nightmare in which the older boy killed the younger one with an axe. This dream haunted me for the whole time we lived there and was a frequent dream. After we moved out of the house I found an old book in the local library about murder in early connecticut. Seems that on or near our property, a 15 year old boy murdered a 4 year old boy in a jelous rage. Yup, you guessed it, he cut him up with an axe. I am soooooooo glad we no longer live there! I could go on and on about the things that happened in the 21 years that we lived there. I will save those for next halloweens contest though!

Two years ago I bought a Halloween decoration - it is a skeleton - just the head, upper torso and hands. The skeleton wears a hooded cape and talks if you turn it on. We my kids (18 and 15 at the time) thought he was really cool and so we left him hanging in a corner of our living room after Halloween. One afternoon when I got home from work I noticed that our skeleton man had been turned to face the corner and so I asked my kids what was up. They told me that the ghost that lives in our house likes to go into the skeleton and that the thing would just all of a sudden turn and be looking at you and that sometimes he would light up and start talking without being turned on. I thought to myself - you two are too old to be getting all worked up and scaring yourselves.
A couple of days later I came home from work and decided to lay down on the couch and take a nap. I noticed that our skeleton friend was once again facing the corner and decided that I would turn him around after my nap. That is when the strangest thing happened...... I started to get this really weird, almost scared feeling, feeling like I wasn't alone. I looked over my shoulder to see if someone was behind me and when I turned around our skeleton friend was staring rignt at me. I was so scared that I could not move. I managed to get my head under the blanket I had brought out for my nap and stayed there until my boyfriend came home.
When I was brave enough to pull my head out from under the covers I looked over at our skeleton friend and he was facing the corner. Soooo our skeleton friend came down and went into a box and now for Halloween he is only allowed to hang outside and as soon as Halloween is over he will go back into a box for storage.

Snakes, Anyone? this is a true story!
Next time you have that feeling of butterflies in your stomach, think about this story. Yeter Yildirim, a 15 year old Turkish girl, had suffered from stomach pains for over five years. They were a constant torment to the girl. She had gone from a happy girl with lots of friends to a lonesome girl who suffered sever head aches and stomach pain. Her family was shunned by suspicious villagers in their little farming community. Eventually Yeter's family moved 80 miles away because they were being persecuted by the town. As her symptoms worsened, her family finally took her to a hospital.
The doctors x-rayed her and went to talk to her parents. They matter-of-factly stated that there would be no problem removing the snakes from the young girls stomach. "What snakes??" asked her shocked parents.
The x-rays showed three snakes living in the girl's stomach, water snakes that she had apparently swallowed as eggs while drinking from a stream. They hatched and lived there for 5 years before being discovered as the cause of her sickness. They were slightly thicker than string and about a foot long. She was fine after they were removed.
