I have one. It is not exactly good but really made the night interesting. My oldest daughter was about 1 and still in diapers. we took her to some fireworks. They literally scared the PeePee out of her. my mother was holding her and a bit of the way through the show looked down to see that her side was soaking wet. My daughter had very over soaked her diaper. So we changed her and finished watching the show. At the end of the show I was the one all wet becuase she soaked it again. We found out she was very scared even though her face and such did not show it. It was very comical.

Well it was about 3 or 4 years ago at a park in town where i live, it had a large man made swimming pool with sandy beach around it. At one end was a bath house where they lit the fire works behind it and everybody sat around the pool and beyond it to watch. Our group sat in front of the bath house in the sand by the pool.
The fire works started with a couple of shots and then all of asudden a large colorfull mushroom went up in the sky and a very loud bang, with a few shots going every where and people started to flee backwards and some in the pool. It was very intense for just a few moments and then there was silence and a large thing of smoke came down on all of us.
We were all standing there in amaze of what just happened, then there was an anouncement that the show was over. Some how a hole thing of fire works got lit at once, lucky there were no major injuries.
Since then it has been moved to a different park where people are not so close incase something like this happens again.

i remember when i was just a little kid probably about 6 or7 years of age we were at my aunts mother-in-laws house. there was a lake near by that had fireworks and we could see them very well. the mother-in-laws son was in the army and i remember that while we was watching the fireworks up walked a minister and a military man and told them that their son had been killed that day in a fox hole. that is one 4th of july that i will never forget even though i was a kid.

I have to admit that my most memorable 4th of July was a few years ago - I was at my sisters house and all the neighbors were letting off fireworks. One of the fireworks landed on the neighbors bushes behind our house. We spent the night fighting fire and saving their house. While we were out back fighting fire - someone stole a cermanic Virgin Mary statue from the front of the house - and the firemen drove the firetruck through our newly planted lawn. It was one to remember and not one I want to go through again.
Thanks

My most memorable 4th of July was 4 years ago in CHICAGO!! The fireworks over Lake Michigan can't even be discribed in words and they are set off to music! We sat in Grant Park and watched, it was so thrilling, they seem to be coming at us but at the same time we knew they were far away from the crowds!! I can still close my eyes and see them!! Of course the evening was evener greater because we had all our family with us!!!

CHICAGO is one of my favorite places to visit!!!

My best 4th of July was 3 years ago when my boys (now 6 and 7) were old enough to understand and watch the fireworks with me and my husband. We had a cookout and then set of the fireworks!

My 4Th of July to remember was 3yrs ago , Myself, my son and my better half went to West Virginia, my Daughter paid for us to visit and she held the fireworks in my Mothers yard, and it was the first time I was able to meet my first Grandaughter, I was so thrilled, she was already 2 yrs old before I got to meet her, we live over 500 miles away and had no money to visit back then. Now I have another granddaughter and I have only meet her once, but I will get to see both of them the 11th of July when my daughter gets married, it wont be the 4th of July, but close, were all excited about the reunion and wedding.

My best and worst 4th, 1986, I was 10. I kissed a girl for the first time, and later that night, nearly blew my hand off with a firecracker. Thanks for the great contest.

Ahhhh....I'm thinking the best is yet to come....My daughter's brain surgeries went well...I'll have all four of my children here to enjoy the day. Life is good.

My answer....I'm fairly certain mine to remember will be THIS one!

Happy 4th, everyone! You don't know it, but you all have seen me through a lot!
