In your opinion, is blackjack a game of skill or is it a game of chance? Please feel free to elaborate on your response.

Thanks!

BlackJackBob, Blackjack is widely accepted as a game of chance, unless you are a professional card counter. Poker is widely accepted as a game of skill.

There is a huge difference between the 2. I could explain for hours, but for starters your opponent in poker is not the "house" or casino, it is another player. Even if you play BJ with "perfect play" the odds are still in favor of the "house" or casino.

Good point TDTAT. So if there's card counting involved, it becomes a game of skill and if not, a game of chance.
