20.00 free from netspend if you refered someone

Hi Just wanted to let you guys know, I called netspend and I did recieve the 20.00 free.

It is a referral bonus.

It is not expired, and if you refered someone then your eligible.

I have one card and my husband has another, so that was probably my referral.

Just wanted to let you know.

TDTAT The one that was given this morning was 3580219243.
I have a referral but was never given the $5 either. I think there is confusion between the referral and the new card promo.
Let me know if the code is different or I took it down wrong.

no u cant refer yourself but if u have more than 1 card u can get the 20.00 on each one if they are different accts
lots of ppl are taking advantage of this before it ends

Thanks myst I am on the phone with them now. They told me that code had already been used and it was for the person I referred not for me. They also said it was only for $5. Then she said when the person I referred called with the code we would each get $5.
I never used the code and I never received $5.
I am not sure what is going on but it is very confusing. Thanks for trying to help though.

Someone else posted earlier that they got the same response.

ok that has happened before and we had to tell them that i mailed it to ur house the code is the same for everyone that uses it

dawn66, call netspend back and tell them i mailed the flyer to ur house with code on it 3580219243 that should take care of it
sometimes u get someone that will say code is already used but its same code for all my referrals i hope u get it

Well I called them back this morning and they are just not going to give it to me. They keep telling me that I have already used it. I keep telling them they can look back through my transactions and they will not find it, but they want to argue with me about it, so I give up. Very rude!!!!!!

Very frustrating. I have never been treated like that at Netspend.
I even had to get the card number of the person I referred and they still wouldnt give it to me. I dont know.
