It is better to give! The best Christmas present I ever got was my Grandparents, who I'd not seen in years. They showed up christmas eve! Was the best ever..I'd missed them sooo much

What a wonderful idea! The best gift I ever received was a sweater my sister gave me when she was in the hospital with Leukemia - she didn't make it - and now whenever I wear it, I am reminded of her great courage and it gets me through just about anything. The best gift I ever gave was to my mother on mother's day...I wrote her a poem that made her smile for days and days....

the best gift I RECEIVE was and is the look on my kids face on christmas morning, that is a GIFT TO ME! and my RED converse i bought my self for my birthday 7 years ago the best gift i ever GAVE was to my mother, a birthstone ring she was soooo excited and it was a surprise!

it is better to give than recieve...my best christmas was when my son was serving in iraq in 2002 when my house burnt down and my son got to come home for christmas. we didn't have much of anything left but to see him was the greatest joy of all!

It's better to give than to receive. The best gift I've ever received was a pair of slippers and candle from my daughter. It wasn't the gift itself...it was the fact that she's a teenager and had money to spend. Instead of buying something for herself or one of her friends, she chose to buy me something. She wrapped it up and made a little card for it, and on Christmas she was so anxious for me to open it, she couldn't wait. The look of anticipation on her face as she waited for me to open the gift was the best for me! 
Of course, the looks on all of my kids' faces on Christmas morning is a gift in itself.

The best gift I ever recieved was a robe, slippers, candles and bubble bath. My ex filled the bath, lit the candles, set everything out for me with soft music, then he told me he loved me and left me be to relax and enjoy! Now to this day when I think about it, it still warms my heart.
