ITS A LOVE-HATE FOR ME.
I REMEMBER THE HOLIDAYS WHEN I WAS A KID MANY YEARS AGO.IT WAS VERY JOYOUS.
TODAY SEEMS VERY COMMERCIAL BUT MAYBE THATS JUST ME.THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT EVERYBODY HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON

I am one of the few, rare females that Does NOT like to Shop!!!!!
The Biggest reason -  I Do NOT have patience to stand in Long lines!
(I don't have patience even to stand in line at 7-11!!!)
I go crazy! 
The longer I wait...
I will start to sigh... and, pace..... my ears turn red... etc.!
Other than that part of the X-Mas Season....
I Love to see all the Bright Christmas lights, decorations, etc....

I have waited in no lines... fought
with NO clerks.. saved paying tax.. and had more choices..
AND ALL MY SHOPPING IS DONE!! 
and I don't have to ship to my out of town relatives!!

I also have a love/hate relationship with Xmas. I love it because I have two grandkids which make it special for me. But I hate it because all the stores start with the Xmas music/decorations in October. Its like they think we DON'T know when Xmas is coming so they want to remind us early. By the time Xmas gets here I have heard enough Xmas carols and seen enough Santas to make me want to Barf!!

I love the reason for the holidays I hate the gimme, gimme of it all.
to much pressure and stress.I hate shopping and I find alot of people
to be rude that probably wouldn't be any other time of year.

I agree with almost everthing that has been said so far  , I can't hate the Christmas Season, because I remember truly what this time of the year is all about... unfortunately is has been turned into one of the most materialistic holidays ever! I shop online, I search for small, meaningful gifts for family and friends, and my children get ONE big ticket item! and the rest of the time, we do family stuff, sledding, baking, christmas plays and visiting. blah blah blah, overall, I like this time of the year, i get to spend more time with my family, than i do with the summer holidays!
