Why doesn't somebody form a lobbyist organization FOR internet gamblers? I've heard 8-9 BILLION dollars a year was being spent on Internet gambling-if we could have that kind of money for lobbyists we could grease a LOT of palms in Washington, and repeal this law permanently! Just a thought. |

Seems to me that more people would enter this contest if they were really concerned about their rights as US citizens. |

I'm afraid I have different beliefs than a lot of people on this board. Without getting on a soapbox-I don't believe congress cares about the rights of US citizens. I believe you BUY rights and freedoms(with lobbyists and money). Does anybody believe Bill Frist DIDN"T make money by his underhanded method of getting this bill added to the port security act? If so, I have some swamp land for sale in Fla. This is not the place, however, to have this kind of discussion-so I'll just make my beliefs known, and be done with it. |
