NFL Odds: New England Patriots (2-0) host Houston Texans (2-0) in Week 3's "Thursday Night Football" 9/22/16 (8:25 PM ET, CBS)

The Texans are slim 1-point favorites against the Patriots in Thursday's game. New England may be 2-0 going into Week 3 against Houston, but they have serious injury concerns to overcome.

Intertops and Bodog Game Odds as of 9/22/16: Houston Texans -1 (-115) @ New England Patriots -1 (-105)

The injured New England Patriots are slight 1-point underdogs in week 3's "Thursday Night Football" game against the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium. New England may be a solid underdog bet since they are 38-32 SU and 46-23-1 ATS as underdogs under Belichick. The Patriots are a huge 10-5 SU when set as home underdogs during that time. In fact, Nate Silver's fivethirtyeight.com lists New England's pre-game win probability at a staggering 70%.

New England is coming off of a 31-24 win against Miami, but Patriot's quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s status is questionable after last weekend's shoulder injury. Jacoby Brissett, New England's third-string quarterback, is the likely starter in Thursday night’s Texans vs. Patriots match-up. The questionable status of New England's tight end Rob Gronkowski and linebacker Dont’a Hightower is yet another concern for Patriot fans and the odds-makers.

New England is facing a serious challenge in Foxboro on Thursday against the tough Houston defense which held Chicago and Kansas City to under 300 total yards in their last two spread-beating wins. Houston is hungry to extend their lead in the AFC South, but their offense needs to improve after missing the end zone in four out of five scoring drives last weekend. Houston's Brock Osweiler knows that a repeat of last week's two interceptions will likely prove deadly against the Patriots.
