All games have now been modified to do 2 things this is explained below

1. show internet connection status
2. display current version

I would clear your internet cache everyone

at either the top or the bottom right hand side of the game you will see the word internet in green if your connection is active or no internet in red if you have lost your internet connection as shown below

1. every 15 seconds each game attempts to connect to the server and if it cannot connect after the first try it notifies the player by signalling "no internet" in red , if connection is re established before the next 30 seconds the message changes back to green "internet" and the counter is reset, if after 3 consecutive attempts it cannot connect the game goes to the end screen with a message stating "You seem to be disconnected from the internet" then closes the game ,this should stop the problem of people playing on when they don't realise they have lost their internet and are not accumulating the dollars they think they are

2. Version numbers now married between the game and database , ie the current version number is stored in both the database and the game , if when the game loads the version numbers don't match ( ie player isn't using the current version) the game kicks to the end screen with a message "Please clear your internet cache and try again " if version numbers match the game proceeds as it should , this will keep everyone on the same page so to speak so we know we're all using the same versions version numbers are displayed in one of the corners of the game
